Who I am

Cyrios Sites is the trading name of Jevahn McKinley, a sole trader based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. I am the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

What information I collect

When you send an enquiry through the contact form, I receive:

• your name and email address
• your phone number and business name, if you choose to give them
• the package you’re interested in and your message

If you email or phone me directly, I receive whatever details you include, such as your email address or phone number.

Like most websites, the hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. This is used to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse.

How I use it, and why

I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to discuss and provide the work you’ve asked about. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

I don’t sell your information, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.

Who else processes it

A small number of service providers handle information on my behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and provides security, including spam protection on the contact form.
• Resend delivers enquiry form messages to my inbox.
• My email provider stores the emails I send and receive.

Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long I keep it

If an enquiry doesn’t lead to any work, I delete it within 12 months. If we work together, I keep project correspondence and records for as long as needed for the work and to meet legal and accounting obligations, normally up to six years.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and to run the contact form’s spam check. These don’t need your consent.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
• ask me to correct information that’s wrong
• ask me to delete your information
• object to or ask me to restrict how I use it

To use any of these rights, email contact@cyriossites.co.uk. I’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I’d appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please get in touch.
